Teams on the ground and in aircraft kept hunting for millionaire aviator Steve Fossett on Sunday after a new analysis of radar data provided fresh optimism. Radar and satellite images from Sept. 3, the day Fossett, 63, disappeared in a small plane, led Air Force technicians to believe they had spotted clues to his route. The formal aerial search by the Civil Air Patrol and the Nevada National Guard had ended Sept. 19. Nothing was found by Sunday afternoon, however.

I thought the radar data introduced later in the search was data gathered of a small plane flying in and around the area where Fossett's route may have taken him before he disappeared, and not radar data gathered afterward. That's the way it read in an article I just finished about search efforts.
What bothers me is that they apparently brought in a damn psychic to help in the search effort. Now THAT is useless data! Obviously we get what one would expect from a psychic, utter nonsense.
